Park Ridge State High is a large co-educational school on the southern outskirts of Brisbane. It was established in 1991 and has developed a proud tradition of academic excellence.   1. Do not rush. Make sure you read the question carefully and provide the required answer. It is better to take your time and answer questions correctly rather than rush and make careless mistakes. Many students do not give the final answer to the question because they do not read it properly.

SPIY PROGRAM Skills for Preventing Injury in Youth

It is a goal of our school to broaden our links into the broader community. With the SPIY program initiative and in conjunction with QUT we have been able to achieve a partnership with one of the leading tertiary institutions in Queensland. This will benefit all our year 9 students as they participate in the program for term 2 in their HPE classes.

NAPLAN

The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) is an annual assessment for students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. It is an everyday part of the school calendar and has been since 2008.

NAPLAN tests the sorts of skills that are essential for every child to progress through school and life, such as reading, writing, spelling and numeracy. The assessments are undertaken nationwide, every year, in the second full week in May.
